Daniel Miller is a sixth-generation Texan and the son of a Korean War veteran. He is the founder and President of the Texas Nationalist Movement, the largest pro-independence organization in North America, with 644,086 supporters across all 254 Texas counties.

Miller is the bestselling author of TEXIT: Why and How Texas Will Leave the Union (Defiance Press, 2018) and Line in the Sand (2011), with two more books forthcoming: The Tethered Sovereign and Crossing the Line. Public support for Texas independence has moved from the single digits to 66 percent of likely voters over his tenure, and he helped secure passage of HB 1056, making gold and silver legal tender in Texas.

He also founded RFT Media, a technology company, and hosts two recurring shows: Late Night Coffee Talk, a live Q&A with TNM members, and the Texas News podcast, a weekly rundown of Texas politics. Miller has appeared on Fox News, CNN, Newsmax, One America News, and dozens of other outlets nationally and internationally. He lives in Nederland, Texas.
