Statement on the Attempted Assassination of President Donald Trump

The following is a statement from Texas Nationalist Movement President Daniel Miller.

Every day, as we approach the election, the United States of America is unraveling at the seams. The dangerous rhetoric that floods our airwaves and social media is deepening divisions and creating a volatile environment ripe for violence and chaos.

The recent attempt on President Trump's life is a stark and evident consequence of this toxic political climate. It is fueled by those who profit from sowing fear and hatred, pushing our society to the brink.

July 13th will be etched in history as one of the darkest days in America. It is a grim reminder of the consequences when political discourse descends into violence. We must unequivocally denounce all forms of politically-motivated violence, regardless of the perpetrator or the victim.

States must brace themselves for what lies ahead. They should be prepared to embrace the principles of self-determination and independence. Our country is falling apart, and communities must explore new ways to secure their future.

Supporters of TEXIT have become prime targets of this overheated rhetoric, facing threats and intimidation merely for advocating a peaceful and democratic solution. The vilification and demonization of TEXIT supporters highlight a deeper, systemic issue within our political framework. A country where many celebrate the attempted assassination of political opponents is no country at all.

The United States of America is too divided and broken to be made whole again. The overheated rhetoric and calls to arms from all sides are tearing us apart. We simply can no longer share a political union with these people. We must strive to lower the temperature and find common ground, but we must also recognize when unity is no longer feasible.

Peaceful independence is the only solution. By pursuing self-determination, states can protect their citizens from the dangers of a fractured and hostile environment. It's time to forge a new path forward, one where communities can thrive without the constant threat of politically-motivated violence.
